whenever i listen to joanna newsom, i feel a sense of worth and greatness. that feeling of smallness and insecurity that i mgiht have is washed away. and i am usually not super into really obsure poetic lyrics. i feel that is what she has. i am more into "i love you blah blah blah" rivers suomo lyrics. but her lyrics have always really made me feel at ease, evn though i dont know what they mean a lot of the time.
