one of my favorite lines sufjan stevens sings is

i cried myelf to sleep last night, for the earth and materials, they may sound just right to me.

i find that his music, even at times when it is sad, has so much hope and greatness to it. this underlying feeling that though life may be hard, it is life, and so it is meant to be felt and loved and lived at all possible levels.
