today i remembered what it is like to have a conversation that is meaningful and one that is not solely about pop culture. though everybody knows how deep my love for pop culture is, it was refreshing and nice to talk about something more sincere. it made me want to have more conversations that were meaningful, deep, and lasting. conversations that actually make one think, that cause one to question what they are feeling and allows them to wonder outloud. i have felt recently that i am not taking advantage of the time i have to learn more, to be well rounded. i would like to change that.
