something i never used to be able to understand is when people would write "hahaha" while instant messaging, or in emails, or in other messages. but i realized recently that people who actually write that are really laughing. well, at least one person i was talking to did. i had written something, and she was actually laughing out loud. so to show that she wrote "haha." before it always seemed that people who wrote "haha," were doing so not necessarily because they were laughing out loud, because they thought what was written was funny (meaning they weren't laughing outloud, but were laughing internally). but now all is clear. this took me a long time to explain!! it was very difficult for some reason. i just reread it and it doesn't seem that coherent, but i am too tired to fix it.
