fashion was funny in the 90's. it was easier to spot people who had similiar interests as me, due to the clothes they were wearing. now that indie culture is so prevalent, it is a bit harder. people who i think i would want to hang out with often end up uninteresting or unpleasant. it has taught me that the way people look, though an outward expression of who they are, does not determine if we would get along or not.
