something that i am really into these days, that i was not into before, is ice cube trays. i used to think the ice despenser in the freezer was the only way to go. but living in houses over the years where there is no ice despenser has made me rely on ice trays, if i want a good, cold drink. and not untill the past few weeks have i really even used them. but now that our apartment is 90 degrees every day, all day, i have been drinking more and more ice water.

the thing i love most about ice trays is the patience which they require. i think "okay, i just dumped the ice tray in one glass, i will not have ice again for a couple hours." this way, i am able to enjoy it more, knowing that i will not have any ice till later.

another thing i really love to do is be a good host. there is rare a thing that makes me feel better about life, then to give someone a big tall glass of ice water during the summer.
