this is a world cup bulletin:

today they are showing the world cup on abc (as opposed to what they have been showing it on, espn). one funny thing is that they have 4 commentators for the pre-game show; three americans, one italian. the funny part is how outspoken the italain is. he is in the americans face so much, about how great italy is, and how america is going to lose. the americans did not even know how to respond. not even alexi lalas! i am sure abc knew he was like this, but did not know he was going to diss american soccer over national television. it has got me pretty riled up!

the best thing georgio the italain (he was a famous footballer in his days) said was "it is brazil, argentina, and italy. nothing else matters"

post script, 10:54 AM, the same day: they kicked of giorgio the italian! not on tv, but when they came back awhile later to talk to the commentators, he was no longer there. i bet some people were pretty pissed at him. namely, pres. bush.

post post script, 3:41 PM, the same day: they brought giorgio back, and he was actually more humble and not as stubborn. it could be because italy tied 1-1 with america, or it could be because pres. bush pulled him aside and told him to chill out.
