jesse is in town for a couple days. tomorrow he leaves for china and i will miss him. he is and has always been a great, loyal, and caring friend.

to celebrate his moving to china, we went with colby and gayley to the santa monica promenade and saw:

a dad and son doing weird gymnasitcs, which involved the son standing on the top of the dad's head.

two 8 year old kids singing songs that were way too much for them to handle.

a guy playing some instrument i have never seen.

an old man who we presumed to be crazy (he actually might have been tripping out on LSD, which i seceretly hoped) sitting in the same spot literally for 5 hours saying non-sensical things.

and other great things!

we also saw transformers, which i highly recommend if you are into high-fiving movies (high-five movies are action packed with corny dialouges).
