at a time when i have felt most distant from people (being that i have no phone and rarely go on the internet), the one thing i can count on to keep me company is music. and everybody knows by know that i am going to say the one band that i can connect with the most is the mountain goats. in john darnielle, i know that there is somebody who when i come home at night, will tell me about the things i have felt.
